San Francisco

Even though my address doesn’t end with Granada, Spain anymore, my adventures are far from over. Travel is my passion, and to travel is what I will continue doing. Very far from Europe, here are some pictures from the lovely Californian city of San Francisco. Enjoy!

Florence, Italy

Florence is a breathtakingly beautiful city. The colors, the shutters, the river- everything is picturesque. I spent one of my best days in Europe here. It was my second time to this lovely place, and I hope to spend many days here again in the future. I traveled here with five of my wonderful friends and got to spend time with my boyfriend Cole who is studying in Florence. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Prague, Czech Republic

Love Locks- Where sweethearts come to attach a lock and symbolize their everlasting love

Prague truly is an amazing city. I spent the second half of my spring break here with my boyfriend Cole and we had a great time! The view overlooking the city from the Prague Castle literally took my breath away. I could spend my life on top of that hill. Prague was also filled with quaint little cafés, which I absolutely loved. We spent most of our time exploring with our cameras and admiring all of the bridges that run along the main river of the city.

Amsterdam

It is safe to say that Amsterdam could quite possibly be my most favorite city in the world. The colorful narrow houses with the intricate rooftops and the winding canals tugged at my heart strings. I spent five wonderful days eating yummy food, taking walks with my wonderful boyfriend and soaking up every bit of dutch culture. There were windmills, tulips and even wooden shoes! Amsterdam will always be a special city in my heart, and I can’t wait to go back again already.

Costa del Sol

Last weekend I took a trip with my program to the beautiful mountains, Las Alpujarras & after we stopped at the beach! It was cloudy & rainy day in Las Alpujarras, so unfortunately I don’t have any pictures. But i spent a wonderful day cuddled up eating good food, reading books and enjoying the quaint mountain town that was filled with shops and bars. We spent the next day at the beach, where luckily it was sunny! It was a wonderful day and It made me miss San Diego! Here are some pictures of my friends and I soakin’ up the sun!

Seville & Cordoba

This weekend I went on a group excursion with my program ISA to the cities of Seville and Cordoba. I loved them both! It was a blast to explore these amazing places and soak up the sunny warm weather. We spent two nights in Seville and saw the Palace and Cathedral, stuffed my face with my friends Jess and Caroline in the best little Italian restaurant, soaked in the city lights along the river, and walked around for hours. We spend Sunday in the windy streets of Cordoba, visiting La Mezquita (the biggest Mosque in the world) and admiring the pretty flower pots hanging off all the walls of the buildings. It was a wonderful weekend. I love the vibe that all of Andalusia has to offer.

Magical

I fall more in love with the city of Granada every day! I have come to the conclusion that Granada is my soul city. I spent this past weekend exploring, wandering and having all sorts of adventures with my friends. We soaked up the beautiful weather by laying in the sun, eating tapas and taking long walks through the windy cobble stone streets. The moroccan culture and the street art get me every time.

For those of you that have read ‘Eat Pray Love’, my friend Jess and I came up with Granada’s signature word today: Pleasure. The people of Granada truly just do whatever makes them happy. If they wanna take a nap, they nap. If they want to stay out til the sun comes up, why not? They really do know how to relax and let life be. They kiss in the streets, drink til their hearts are merry, and speak what’s on their mind. It’s beautiful.

Paris, France

Paris, My dream city. I got to cross this beautiful city off the top of my bucket list! I loved the chimneys, the colors, the Nutella crapes, and my company.  We spent many hours around the Eiffel Tower and the river, my favorite parts of paris. We also spent time wandering around the city, going to to Louvre, the Notre Dame, the Arc de Triumph and of course, Starbucks. The 6 days I spent in Paris will not easily be forgotten.
